Community members join together to offer activities for high risk teens

JAMESTOWN – Several programs have come about over the years for local students to be a part of since community members first established the campaign, Jamestown Dedicated and Proactive Partners (JDAPP) in 2008 hopes of improving Jamestown School District’s high drug and alcohol prevalence.(From Jan. 18 edition).

Pierpont Township welcomes Graydon Hoover to the board

 PIERPONT – Graydon Hoover has agreed to fill the spot of Gaylord Millard for a one year term as trustee in Pierpont Township for 2019.
According to Hoover his position as trustee came about after trustee Bob Jackson approached him about the vacancy.(From Jan. 11 edition).

For owner of God’s Country ATV tours, at its location of 1919 Route 6 in New Lyme, Mike Kromer this quote seemed to ring true several years ago as he watched the clouds clear over a hill on his property after a heavy storm envisioning how fitting the hill could be for some purpose.(From Jan. 11 edition).

American Legion Post 226 honors PV students for their Americanism test

Pierpont Fire Department Auxiliary hosts a community-wide blood drive

PIERPONT – Vehicles filled the parking lot of Williams-Ducro Funeral Home for a positive reason on Saturday, Dec. 29 as area residents spent the morning or afternoon offering a chunk of both their time and blood to American Red Cross in hopes of making a difference through Pierpont Fire Department Auxiliary’s annual community-wide event held in Pierpont.
