ASHTABULA – The Ashtabula County Educational Services Center is working toward a smooth transition after a rocky start for school-aged children who are now under the Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Educational Services Superintendent John E. Rubesich said last week quick action between his office and the Board of Developmental Disabilities kept the county from losing $1.2 million from the Ohio Department of Education.

WASHINGTON, D.C. April 24, 2018 — Today, a bipartisan bill authored by U.S. Senators Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Rob Portman (R-OH) that would reauthorize the Children’s Hospitals Graduate Medical Education (CHGME) program for an additional five years and increase its authorization to $330 million per year passed out of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.
