Resident pleads to be allowed to keep family pet

MENTOR-ON-THE-LAKE – David Huntington of Cedarwood Road presented more than 50 signatures of residents who signed a petition to allow his family to keep the rooster they purchased, along with a hen, about one year ago.

 

He addressed council at its May 14 meeting in response to a proposed city ordinance

LAKE COUNTY - Lake County Commissioners Bob Aufuldish, Dan Troy and Judy Moran meet at 10 a.m. most Thursdays, with some meetings at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, in the Commissioners' Chambers on the fourth floor of the Lake County Administration Building, 105 Main St., Painesville.

Village to bid out for water line project

MADISON VILLAGE – Council suspended readings and passed an ordinance authorizing the mayor to advertise for bids for the improvement to the village of Madison’s Water Utility via the state Route 528 Southerly Water Line Construction Project, Phase One, and declaring an emergency.

 

The purpose of the legislation is to extend the water line from River Road
