Conneaut Veterans Day Ceremony Forced Indoors

Snow, rain, heat, or gloom of night may not stay the U.S. Postal Service from the swift completion of its appointed rounds, but snow and ice forced the cancellation of the city’s Veterans Day parade and moved Sunday morning’s ceremony indoors.

First UCC Hosts Holiday DInner, Concert Dec. 1

Following a four-course dinner the evening of Dec. 1, local musicians will present a free concert of holiday music in the sanctuary of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Main and Buffalo Streets.

Buckeye Local Schools Treasurer Jamie Davis was pleased to announce to the Buckeye Local Schools Board of Education on Oct 16 that should conditions remain stable, the school district should not find itself in “deficit spending” until 2023.
