CONNEAUT – Smiles and high-fives were in abundance across the city Tuesday night as three levies were approved by Conneaut voters. Permanent improvement levies – one new and one renewal — were passed for Conneaut Township Park and Conneaut Area City Schools, and a replacement levy for Conneaut Fire Department/EMS will pay for additional personnel and enhanced services.

Nick Iarocci Wins Landslide Victory in Municipal Court Judge Race

CONNEAUT – For the first time in decades, Conneaut voters have elected one of their own as Conneaut Municipal Court Judge.
Unofficial results from Tuesday’s general election showed Ashtabula County Prosecutor Nick Iarocci defeated incumbent Conneaut Municipal Court Judge Carl DiFranco nearly 2:1, taking 1,679 votes to DiFranco’s 838.
