Brown: Ohio Farmers And Families Deserve Bipartisan Farm Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today renewed his commitment to work with Republicans and Democrats to pass a bipartisan, five-year Farm Bill that works for Ohio farmers, taxpayers, families and Lake Erie. Brown, a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, has already introduced several bipartisan bills with his Republican partners on the Committee that he hopes will become part of the final Senate package.

Senate Passes Brown Bill To Establish Voluntary Cancer Registry For Firefighters

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 16, 2018 — The U.S. Senate passed U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown’s (D-OH) bipartisan legislation to establish a voluntary cancer registry of firefighters by unanimous consent last week. Brown’s bill, the Firefighter Cancer Registry Act, would require the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to create and maintain a voluntary registry to collect data on cancer incidence among firefighters.
