Wings Over Jordan to bring spiritual music to FAA March 7

Willoughby — The Fine Arts Association’s Sarah Weeden Richardson Minority Scholarship Committee (SWRMSC) will present One World Many Cultures on Saturday, March 7 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Corning Auditorium. The show will include Wings Over Jordan, a prominent African American Choir founded in the 1930s, featuring The Cleveland Gospel Choir and The Southern Enterprise School of Arts Dancers.

Cleveland music festival moves to Lakeland

CLEVELAND - The Elevation Group, creators and producers of Cleveland’s annual multi-stage, multi-act international contemporary music festival announced the festival’s new name and new location. The festival’s new name is WonderStruck In Cleveland, and the event will move from its previous location at Laurel School’s Butler Campus in Russell and Chester townships to the campus of Lakeland Community College, complete with onsite parking for many festival attendees.

KIRTLAND - “The Best of the Best Fundraiser” will kick off a joint effort by three Lake County rescue organizations to multiply their ability to help cats throughout the county by combining some of their activities. The fundraiser will be held Saturday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Kirtland Grange, 10360 Chillicothe Rd. (state Route 306), Kirtland.
