GENEVA - When Geneva Police Department Officer Shaun Gonzalez learned about Helmet Smart, a AAA-sponsored program that provides free bike helmets to young riders, his thoughts turned immediately to the safety of his own small children and to kids throughout the community he serves.

GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE – Steven Santo graduated from what was then the Ashtabula County Vocational School in the 1970s and promptly moved a thousand-plus miles away to Texas.
