An eager and somewhat nervous Nick Sanford was sworn in as Conneaut's Ward 2 Councilman at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22 by Conneaut Municipal Court Judge Carl DiFranco, his wife, Jennifer, holding the large “Catholic family Bible” as cable TV cameras rolled in front of Conneaut City Council and a few family and media members.
