Not a single ordinance in first, second or third readings on the agenda of Conneaut City Council’s 6:30 p.m. March 11 meeting was passed, but the city’s new credit card policy was taken off the table and passed.

Bucking a trend to start the school year earlier and earlier, the Boards of Education of Conneaut Area City Schools and Buckeye Local Schools are expected to approve next month a 2019-20 school calendar with Aug. 26 start date for students.
