Former NK Police Chief Nathan Houser, Patrolman Denny Moore Indicted

Former North Kingsville Police Chief Nathan R. Houser and Officer Denny Moore were indicted by the Ashtabula County Grand Jury on Jan. 2 following an investigation of the North Kingsville Village Police Department by the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office and the State of Ohio’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).

Even before the Kingsville Township trustees opened their 2019 Organizational Meeting 6 p.m. Jan. 2 at the Fire Hall, outgoing president Jim Branch took the seat to the right of center at the table, leaving the president’s seat in the center for Michael Cliff.

Happy Hearts Levy Back on May Ballot

 At their respective meetings last month, Conneaut Area City Schools Board of Education and the Buckeye Local Schools Board of Education approved a resolution to put the 1.5-mill “Happy Hearts” levy back on the May, 2019, primary election ballot.
